Eligibility and Age Criteria
Eligibility for IIT-JEE (Main)
Only those candidates who have passed their class 12th exam or any other/ equivalent qualifying Exam or those who are appearing in their class 12th/Qualifying Exam in current academic year.
Age Limit
• Maximum 25 years. for General & OBC.
• 30 years for SC, ST, Pwd (Person with disabilities)

Eligibility for Appearing in JEE (Advanced)
• Eligibility for Admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs, Participating through SEAT ALLOCATION BOARD.
• Admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs, Participating based on all India Rank.
• Candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in 12th class or be in top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in 12th class examination.
• The minimum academic qualification for appearing in JEE (Advanced) is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination.
All candidates aspiring to take admission in the undergraduate programmes at IITs and appear in-
• Paper- I- (B.E./B.Tech) of JEE (main)
• Admissions to IITs/ISM Dhanbad will be based only on category – wise All India Rank (Air) in JEE- (Advanced) subject to condition defined in JEE (Advanced) guidelines asper the website.
• A Candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in consecutive years irrespective of whether or not he/she passed qualifying Examination.
